"Handover, ns2" : The most examples are for Wimax, I think.

Google .. ns2 handover .. https://www.google.com/webhp?hl=all#...q=ns2+handover

About https://code.google.com/p/lte-model/issues/detail?id=2
→ Not supposed to work with Ubuntu.
Hence the new patch = lte-ns233-patching-2.tar.gz :
Works with any OS.
And circumvents the unstable 'patch' command in Ubuntu.

I.e. if there were no problems, there wouldn't be a reason
to develop a new patch package / new instructions.

sir i didn't get what you are saying in the above post...
mine is Red Hat Linux Fedora 8.
ns-lte eyana.tcl file ran successfully but with some warnings.
these warnings are an issue or not??

# 21 .

Warnings can be ignored.
The most warnings are just "an informative text".

Fedora 8 : lte-ns233-patching-2.tar.gz is still the most easy way to go.
Though a manual method like https://code.google.com/p/lte-model/issues/detail?id=2
.. will work OK with Fedora 8.

Why aren't you using a safe contemporary OS ? Fedora 8 is a security risk.
Suggest : Use the Fedora 12 based ``Redhat CentOS 6.5´´.

# 27 .

The usual way is to compile the "file.cc" into the executable 'ns'.
And may be add "new functions" to tcl/lib/[file.tcl]
Then you can use the the ``function´´ in a simulation.

Links, "c++ and tcl" :

May be have a look at the ns3 LTE (LTE is an additional package) :
Might do what you want ?
