Linux and MN-730


Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone has experience a linux machine working w/ a Microsoft wireless NIC. I know microsoft is going ape shit trying to strike down linux so i didn't knwo if they'd denied compatibility with some of their hardware.

I need to know soon though, so please help!

come on guys, ya gotta come through, im trying to learn linux here but i need some community support, all i want to know is if this card is supported... simple question

I have an MN720 I think.. it works perfectly with ndiswrapper

thanks for the feedback, but i gave in already, i took the microsoft card back and bought a d-link DWL-G510, its not quite working yet either though...

Nooo! I also have an MN-730, and it worked pretty flawlessly with ndiswrapper under Mepis. Worked well in Mandrake too. From what I've read Microsoft's wlan cards are really good stuff.

I buy the MS wireless stuff because it is cheap I have had good luck getting it to run under linux as well.

I have an MN-730 also. It has set up with ndiswrapper perfectly. I can't say much for the MN-700 router though. I get connection drops all week long and the client list is buggy and the mac filtering is buggy and the speeds I'm getting are that of an 11MB connection! Very frustrating and thus I'm in the market for a new 54G router.
