Level one WPC-0301 on linux

Hello.

I want to buy a wireless card for my compaq laptop
the one who is being soled at my local store who seem to worth something is
the Level one WPC-0301 .

on the store website they are saying that he is supported in linux
but when I cheked level 1 linux wasn't manchend as supported os
I tryed looking for post about it but all I got was some sites in german
and I couldn't really understand if the card worked with some problems or didn't worked at all.

so what I wanted to know if the card will work on my suse 9.1

i would presume that it would work as long as it would take a generic linux wireless card driver of some sort.
