Question Kernel update knocks out wireless

Is it just me?
Wireless networking seems to have been knocked out by kernel-2.6.17-1.2145_FC5. If I revert to an earlier kernel-2.6.16-1.2133_FC5 all is well. I've searched on the web and no-one seems to have noticed this. Nor sure where / if a noobie should file the bug?

What driver are you using. I always rebuild my "ndiswrapper.ko" kernel driver after updating the kernel.

ipw2200-fw-2.4 for Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG.

The installation survived a couple of earlier kernel updates, so I wasn't really expecting to have to do any kind of manual reinstallation. But I did try:
rmmod ipw2200
modprobe ipw2200
all with no success.

I also checked that the installed driver files are still in the /lib/firmware folder.

For anyone else with this problem, I solved it by downloading and installing a later driver: ipw2200-fw-3.0.tgz

I hope this is not a frequent occurence with later updates!
