Invalid Driver with Linksys WPC55AG and Fedora Core 4

I've got a Dell Inspiron 1100. I am dual booting WinXP and Fedora Core 4, and I'm trying to set up my Linksys WPC55AG on it.

I tried using ndiswrapper on the windows driver (net5211.inf). It doesn't seem to have worked. When I list the installed drivers it says:

Installed drivers:
net5211 invalid driver!

Any clue as to why the driver is invalid?

Any help would be appreciated. I'm another linux newbie.

The .inf file isn't actually the driver. There should be a .sys file with the same name (net5211.sys) and you need to have that file in the same directory as the .inf when you run ndiswrapper -i.

Oh, and welcome to LQ!

A quick search indicates that the madwifi driver should support that atheros chipset.
