Centos Not reconizing NIC

I'm using an old Gateway laptop thats is a PIII 450Mhz 512 RAM 6GB HD. I want to use this computer as a secondary DNS. I have installed Centos Server CD x86 and its not detecting the NIC cards. The laptop is so old that it dosen't once built in. I have a Linksys USB100M plugged into it and a USB Wireless NIC plugged in. During boot it dosen't show eth0 or eth1 loading or even failing. Linksys dosen't seem to have a linux driver for this. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do or how I can get one of this NIC's working?

Also search here, on google and at the ndiswrapper site for the 4k stack issue and how to fix. Hint you need to rebuild the kernel and disable the CONFIG_4K_STACK option.

Idea: get a pcmcia based Ethernet card instead.
