cards with 802.11 ad-hoc

What brand and model PCI wireless ethernet cards that support 802.11 ad-hoc are best for linux boxes in general?

Lucent and Cisco gear both support ad-hoc, the drivers are in the kernel, and they work very well.

prism2 based cards: WPC11 v2/2.5/3, Netgear MA401, Dlink DWL-650, etc... all have 3 driver sets that work variously well, require some compiling, and all support ad-hoc.

If you check under the links in my profile for Jean's page, that's pretty much as complete as it gets.

Thanks for the info -- I stumbled across the HOWTO independently while trying to figure stuff out. It's a great resource.
