card recognized.. enable?


I have a Ralink RT2500 wireless card installed using ndiswrapper on suse 9.2. It is recognized as eth0 but how do I use this card to access the internet?

From the information you showed, it looks to me like you're not getting any signal.

(Link Quality=0/70 Signal level:-220 dBm Noise level:-256 dBm)

The link quality =0 is a problem. Also the signal level of -220 isn't good.

Is the antenna connected?
Do you have other units connected to this network?

the wireless network card is in a laptop and it recieves a signal when used under windows. the wireless adapter is enabled..light is on..unless it needs to be enabled in some way through linux. I do get a low signal when the adapter is used in windows, but i moved my laptop to where it should get a better signal and the signal still remains at 0 in linux.
