cannot register passkey_agent for Bluez V: 3.36 and hence not able to run obexftp

Dear All;

I am working on iMX31 platform (ARM based from freescale) for bluetooth interface, which is having Bluez on it. Here I am unable to pair and hence transfer the files between bluetooth devices .

I am using the following resources:

Bluez lib and utils version : 3.36
Obexftp version : 0.22
Openobex version : 1.2
Dbus version : 1.0

My step by step approach is as below :

. 1. configure the serial interface
(bccmd -t bcsp -d /dev/ttymxc1 psload -r apm6628BT-UART.mx31.psr)
2. hciattach -s 921600 /dev/ttymxc1 bcsp 921600

3. hciconfig hci0 up

Now I can do " hcitool -i hci0 scan" it is giving name of other devices as expected.

4. Added the UID and GID for messagebus
vi /etc/passwd
messagebus:x:108:119::/var/run/dbus:/bin/false

vi /etc/group
messagebus:x:119:

5. run the dbus :
dbus-daemon --system

6. /etc/rc.d/init.d/bluetooth start

7. get the path

dbus-send --system --print-reply --dest=org.bluez / org.bluez.Manager.DefaultAdapter

Result is : object path "/org/bluez/1882/hci0"

8. dbus-send --system --type=method_call --print-reply --dest=org.bluez /org/bluez/1882/hci0 org.bluez.Adapter.SetProperty stringiscoverable variant:boolean:true

Now I can search the board from my Nokia mobile successfully.

9 . Even I tried to run the "hcid -n "

The output is :
hcid[1903]: Bluetooth HCI daemon
hcid[1903]: Unable to get on D-Bus

10. If I run the :
./passkey-agent --default 00:1F:00:B1:1C:C4

It is prompting this message:

Can't register passkey agent
Method "RegisterDefaultPasskeyAgent" with signature "s" on interface "org.bluez.Security" doesn't exist

11. Now I want to send a file from board to Nokia phone using obexftp:

I executed like this (Using sdp brows, I got the obex file transfer channel of my mobile as "11" ):

./obexftp -b 00:1F:00:B1:1C:C4 -B 11 -p ./file

Here it is printing very fast errors :

Connecting...failed: connect
error on connect(): Success
Still trying to connect
Connecting...failed: connect
error on connect(): Success
Still trying to connect
Connecting...failed: connect
error on connect(): Success
Still trying to connect

Will you please tell me, what is the cause of this errors , anything I am missing or anything I want to update ...?

Sincerely
shamsudheen OP
