Can't seem to get Essid to change


When I type iwconfig wlan0 ESSID nameofwireless it seems to run fine with no errors but when i checked the essid again it was still the same. Just wondering if im typing it in wrong or something if someone could help it would be great im running fedora 2.

Hi.

Try using eth1 (or eth0, depending) instead of wifi0.
