Can't get wireless to work

I have mandrake 9.0, and have wireless internet, and it logs in and everything when mandrake loads, but i can't surf the web... are there any possibilities you can give me for why it's not working?

Who provides your "wireless internet" service?

What type of wireless device is your computer using?

What is the output when you run '/sbin/ifconfig' from a command line?

Please provide any details you can find that might be relevant. Someone will be more likely to help you out if they recognize a specific component.

hi...I'm having the same problem, but it seems like a dns or time out problem with mine. I will try your suggestions and get back to you.
