Bridge Connections, laptop(xp) to PC(linuxmint6)

So early today, I installed linux mint 6 on my PC, and before I was able to bridge my wireless from my laptop to my PC when it had XP also.

But now when I go to do that, nothing happens, and I'm fairly new to this wonderful world of Linux.

Any help or suggestion would be nice.

by it had XP also do you mean as a virtual machine or is it a dual boot ... ?
