Bluetooth Dual-boot
Dear All
I have a bluetooth dongle on my computer and I use it for mobile phones and PDA. I want to use the same in both Windows and Linux. The problem is that the key that is generated when the device is paired is stored in the computer and not in the dongle. That means I have different keys in Linux and in Windows. (this is no the same as the pin code. The pin code is used to generate the key but it also involves other things so that the keys will differ even if the pin is the same).
In Linux the key is stored in a file and in Windows it is ofcourse stored in system registry. I try to copy the registry contents into the file in the file where linux is storing the key but it doesn't work so I probably do something wrong or maybe the key is encrypted or stored in different formats...
Does anybodu have a solution to this?
Best regards
Martin
