Becoming root in Bodhi Linux


Hi!!!

How do I do in Bodhi Linux 12.4 32 bit, login as root. I must be logged in as root to install my USB modem.

I took a quick look at the Bohdi website. It looks as if Bohdi uses sudo by default, but that's just a guess.

In the future, it would help if you gave your threads more helpful titles than "Help Me." Using titles that indicate the actual question helps LQ members decide whether or not they might be able to help you and therefore should read your post. In this case, for example, "Root Access in Bohdi" might have been a good choice.

...in other words, you don't have to login as root - you have to execute the command(s) as root or superuser, which is often done by prepending "sudo" when entering the command in a terminal window.

if you need more help, we need more information.
