Advice on USB wireless chipset?

Hi all,

I've been looking at the HCL but I can't decide on what should I buy...
I'm looking for a USB wireless chipset that can be used with WPA and not too much hassle.

Also, I would eventually use it on older systems (i.e. boot a 1 Ghz PC from a live distro network with it the usb and back up data), so if any recommendation can contemplate that, it would be great.

The best recommendation I can give is to get a PCMCIA card, not a USB dongle. USB wireless NICs seem to be a much bigger problem then the PCMCIA cards.

I should mention that I already have a PCMCIA with an RT2500 chipset and I am replacing a second one I had and gave away, so I thought having a USB dongle as an alternative would be a good idea.

Also, I could eventually use the USB in a desktop, should it become necessary...
