still awaiting arrival

Hello
I'm sorry, I'm still waiting for arrival of mine

"UP!" means you've got success?

all what I knew is that it's probably PRISM chipset
because that's what I've discovered in .inf (M$ driver def file downloaded from 3com site told me this):

[DeviceList]
%A021_DESC_STR% = PRISM_A021, USB\VID_0506&PID_0A11

[DeviceList.NTx86.5.1]
%A021_DESC_STR% = PRISM_A021_XP, USB\VID_0506&PID_0A11

and it's available in 2.6 at least:
/usr/src/linux-2.6.6/drivers/net/wireless/prism54

but it's mentioned as PCI chipset - might need some modification to work through USB

take a look this site: http://prism54.org/
they might need someone having 3COM-WIFI-USB to test

Ah! I see. No wonder why I'm confused. That was a dangerous
comment in such a thread.

Nevertheless - according to the prism54.org, USB support seems to be
in the pipeline.

There are reports at prism54.org forums that some people have been successfull using ndiswrapper and windows drivers to make the 3crwe254G72 (3COM OfficeConnect USB 54MBit) work.

Hello gomul
unfortunately I have PowerPC architecture, so I can't use any "wrapper" for WIFI drivers
