Virtualbox Stalls Keyboard Input After Screen Saver Goes On.

Hi, I got virtual box going well in Mint 9, until a point when the screen saver switched on, and a mouse move brings the page back, but then there is no registering of the keyboard, mouse highlights but no keyboard input of numbers or letters. It means many resets, ie, restarts of XP in virtualbox.

I use a Dell keyboard, on a desktop, dual core, by ASUS. 500GB memory, 2 of 3 GB RAM is in virtual box.

Checking through the options in Virtualbox I did not find an option for the keyboard in devices. It normally works.

Thanks for the help getting me this far!

Are you referring to the virtual machine screen saver or the host screen saver?

I am referring to Mint 9's because after entering the password, no keyboard in the virtual machine. But you know they are timed about the same.

Sounds like a similar problem I had with Ubuntu 10 on VMware Workstation. It appears to be an issue with the Linux config.
(Mint is Ubuntu based so may have the same issues.)

Anyhow, try this: http://www.clickonf5.org/linux/keybo...in-vmware/7163
