[SOLVED] script for AWS

on AWS when you set up a spot request you cannot tell it what Name you want the instance to have. so with many of these you end up with a bunch of unidentified instances. i wrote this script you can set up your AMI to run at init time that copies the tags from the spot request that launched it to the instance it runs in.

Hi Skaperen,

I don't work on AWS, though I do like Xen as a virtualization platform. I passed the link to your script to a friend who manages a domain on the Amazon platform and he wanted me to tell you, you rock.
