kvm --enable-debug logs

My colleague has advised me that one way for me to follow KVM through its operations is to compile it using the --enable-debug option at the ./configure line.

I am able to perform that line, plus the 'make' and 'sudo make install' lines without problem.

However neither of us are able to locate where the logs are based. we can't find anything in /var, nor in the kvm installation folder in usr.

Its my first time using this feature and I'm hoping someone can suggest where I can find these logs please.
