Export of VirtualBox VM and import into VMWare Player

Is it possible to export a VM from VB, and get VMWare (Fusion) to import it?

When I try to import a VB created VM (gentoo.ova) under VMWare, it won't
let me select the file.

Anyone have any idea?
TIA
Steve.

In case it matters, here is my setup:
I am running VB in OS X with a Gentoo guest OS.
VMWare Fusion is running in OS X.

I continue to be very impressed with VB in general.

vmconvert

The stand alone P2V tool from vmware will read a running VB guest and create a VMWARE guest from it.

Ok, very good!

I could not immediately tell if the tool runs under my host environment (OS X) but the functionality looks good.

Thanks, I will check it out.
Steve.
