Question Can't open Virtual Box VMs created in Windows in Linux

Hi,

I have a Windows 7 VM (Guest) created in Windows 10 (Host)using Virtualbox. But when I tried to open this particular Windows 7 VM in Linux Mint it just spewed up a lot of errors regarding UEIF. So I'm wondering that are VMs cross-compatible across different host OS?

Thanks,

I would say yes, they should be compatible, this is probably a [boot related] configuration error. But need to know more (about your settings) to be able to go further.

Did you enable efi booting in the settings? By default VirtualBox uses Bios booting unless told otherwise.
