Bridge starts slowly


RHEL 6 Host

Rhel 4.8 Guest

i installed both os, while starting host pinging immediately

and guest pinging after host,

But bridge takes six minutes to start.

Pl suggest any corrective action.

BOOTPROTO="static"

remove PREFIX=8 and replace it with NETMASK=255.0.0.0
