Best dstro for workstation host os
Looking for the best distro to use as a "minimal", no need for firefox/skype/anything except to run VMWare workstation or VirtualBox.
My hardware is a HP Pavilion G6 laptop. A6 1.5GHZ quad core, 4GB memory.
I want to run between 2 - 3 virtual machines at a time, mix of linux and windows.

for a simple and basic virt box, the standard KVM offering within CentOS is probably the simplest. I'm a bit confused about you wanting to run workstation though, you run that on a desktop system, not a server, so you'd be running a full X environment.
