[noob] VM on ubuntu server 13.10 and how to configure without GUI

Hello,

I have been trying to establish VM's on an ubuntu server 13.10 using virsh. I want to have qcow2 disk format and have therefore done this:

Code:
qemu-img create -f qcow2 disk2.qcow2 20G
It ran successfully and then i moved on to this:

Code:
virt-install --connect qemu:///system -n ubuntu-server-13.10.2 -r 1024
--disk path=disk2.qcow2,format=qcow2 -c ubuntu-13.10-server-amd64.iso --noautoconsole --graphics vnc,password=foobar,listen=0.0.0.0 --os-type linux --os-variant ubuntusaucy --accelerate --network=network:default --hvm
This also went smoothly, however now comes the noob question:

How can I connect to it? i have been trying to use:
Code:
virsh connect ubuntu-server-13.10.2
but without any luck, i suspect this has to do that this will promt a GUI, which is not something i have, and would rather not use it since i want to do this without the GUI.

I have been searching around on the web trying to find some terminal to terminal connection to the newly established VM, but so far i had no luck in that department either. So I was hoping that you guys could help me out abit. Should also be noted i run putty terminal from windows onto a ubuntu server 13.10

Thanks in advance,
zingoto

It seems like you named your guest "system", referring to what you wrote..? You could probably use something like: virsh connect quemu:///system
Source: http://libvirt.org/uri.html#URI_qemu

But I think the quickest way here is to use "virsh list" to find your guest, and then connect to it.

See this page for a nice overview: http://www.centos.org/docs/5/html/5....ith_virsh.html
