I can install ubuntu 10.10 as a guest in Win 7 using virtual pc. Can not subsequently boot. It powers down after flashing some start up messages across the screen. Moves by to fast to see the problem.
Not interested in using Virtual Box.
What are the Grub2 parameters to get it to boot proprly.
Linux guests Installing a Linux-based guest environment in Virtual PC is possible. RedHat and SuSe Linux guests are supported. Linux additions are supported in Microsoft Virtual Server, and these additions should also work in Virtual PC.[45]
Some Linux distributions must be installed in text mode, as they do not support Microsoft Virtual PC's emulated graphics chip.
