Yellow Dog Linux version 6 for ps3 urgent help please

hi there, just got version 6 ydl for my ps3. did everything right, formatted system, partitioned drive and started install. got as far as yellow dog userface coming up and asking for my keyboard layout, as soon as i chose united kingdom it just freezes(have tried this twice). now my problem is i am stuck in limbo, linux doesnt want to install and in kboot when i type in boot-game-os to get back to my ps3 os it says eval boot-game-os not found. so i cant get back to my ps3 nor linux to work. what must i do?

always people on forums thats just the opposite of helpful, if you having nothing good or helpful to say, why bother. thanks for you input, NOT. got sorted anyways, thanks for the pm guys that actually here to help
