Xserver help needed - Permedia3 chipset not supported?

I have a 3DLabs Oxygen GVX1 (32MB) that uses the Permedia3 chipset. There's no server for the Permedia3 chipset (well, none that are free anyway) so, until I either pay $130 for the server from XIG or just buy a new card, I want to run generic SVGA (I think).

Is there some server that is better to choose than another? (I'm just using the "Generic SVGA" in Red Hat 7.2)

Has anyone else that has this card found a good alternative?

I'd like 3D accelleration, but it's not as important as resolution.

Thanks in advance.
