XMMS Playlist is FUBOR!

When I play mp3's in XMMS the playlist shows all random letters for the names. For example when I play Step Up from Drowning Pool it says "onn ol- ep" and other funky crap like that for other songs.

I'm using XMMS 1.2.10 on SuSE 9.1

Where did you get your mp3's? Maybe there is something wrong with the tags on them.

The tags are fine. If I right click on a song in XMMS and click "View File Info" it shows the proper tags. And I tried the songs in Winamp on Win XP and the tags where normal. I used Ksnapshot to take a pic of my screen so you can can see what I'm seeing, but you'll have to email me if you want to. The pic shows the same files loaded in Jukebox so you can see that the tags are fine. It also shows what they look like in XMMS.

Ok I was wrong. It is the tags. For some reason it's the JuK program in SuSE that does it. It shows proper tags in JuK but for some reason makes them all funkafied in XMMS. I tried out my theory on a freshly downloaded mp3 from the net and the tags where fine in XMMS but when I changed them in JuK it got all messed up.
