Ximian Evolution lags!

Hello!

My mother uses Ximian Evolution on her Mandrake 10 (Official)-box (which I have fixed :P) the problem is that when she uses Ximian Evolution for writing new mails it lags.

If she types
"hello there I am very happy today"
only "hell" would appear and the rest would come after 5-10 seconds (at once)

does anyone know why?

edit the /etc/hosts file

change the line

127.0.0.1 localhost

to

127.0.0.1 [hostname]

where [hostname] is whatever the hostname of your machine is.

This works. I don't know why.
