Xfce and projector

Hello everyone,

i'm using Mint 17 Xfce. I use to connect my notebook (1280x800) to an external projector (1024x768) and i need to see the same image on both.

The problem is of course the different resolution: so i set 1024x768 for the projector, and the same for the lcd. But the lcd gets scaled instead of showing for example black borders and keeping aspect ratio and unscaled pixel.

Is there a way to do so?

Thank you in advance.

try installing the appropriate proprietary driver for your amd/ati/radeon card.
maybe the standard fglrx (<=i might've made a typo there) is sufficient.

Thank you, but unfortunatly the proprietary driver doesn't support anymore that card.
