Xdmx-Question

Hola amigos!

I have a desktop-pc running slack10.1 and a laptop running slack 10.0

On 10.1 Xdmx is installed. And I tried it today. Both machines run in runlevel 4 and I am logged in on both. To be sure I did

$ xhost +

on both. Then I started Xdmx with:

$ Xdmx :1 -display 192.168.168.10:0 -display 192.168.168.11:0

And... it works... somehow. Here is what happens. Both screens turn black. I get the X-coursor, the "X" as a coursor.... and I can move it from one screen to another.

When I do [Alt]+[Tab] I see the small window, showing me the running programs. But I can't bring them to the top, so that I can see them or work with them.

Putting it together: No errors, screens turn black, "X"-coursor, no programs, no nothing!

So, does someone have a good idea where this may come from and what to do against it?

Thanks a lot, Sascha
