xbmc not to grab cursor

Hi,

I'd like to use xbmc, but at startup it grabs the mouse and keyboard focus. I'd like it to stop doing that, since I want to use X multi pointer feature, one pointer for xmbc screen, the other a working kde desktop. (proof of concept working with enna media center)

thanks for any suggestions,

Serafean

I also need this feature. This is automatic behavior when XBMC is in fullscreen mode. You can try changing resolution to non fullscreen or use command 'Minimize'. Maybe in the comming soon new version it will be repaired.

You can also look here.

Thanks for the post; I'll have to change my setup quite a bit since the screen on which xbmc is supposed to be is without a window manager... Here I was hoping for a simple command line option.

Hi,
Whatever I do, I can't get xmbc to not start fullscreen (on a screen with or without WM). Back to enna for now...

The guide worked. I finally managed to get a windowed xbmc-10. Thanks a bunch
