xvideo problem


i am tryin to watch tv using saa7134 driver and v4l.
xawtv works fine in overlay mode, but when i switch to grabdisplay then the video is full of junk(green pink lines....) but sound is still there.
even in tvtime the video is full of junk...
even mplayer tv:// shows junk in video
have tried everythin but nothin seems to work
iam sure its an xvideo problem coz in mplayer only that is not working
have 2.6.9 kernel(debian) and latest v4l and xawtv
i also have mandrake 9.0 where xvideo is working great, so can i copy settings or drivers from there???
plz can someone help me....

ok now iam sure that its xvideo problem coz in mplayer only that is not working for -vo
in mandrake 9.0 however its workin great
plz can i copy settings from there or somethin, help!!!
