Working practical method to compare/benchmark interpreters speed


How is the best practical procedure and method to compare/benchmark the speed between some interpreters (e.g. Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, Zsh, Raku etc) ?

To get a very rough estimate, you may use time. runlim is a bit more sophisticated.
