You've got to find out which version of the Netgear WPN111 you're using - they're pretty different beasts. v1 should work out of the box, but since it doesn't, I expect v2, or, worse, v3. lspci will give you an idea about which chipsets are used (the adapter has to be plucked in for that). There do exist recipes for both types of chipsets, but I have no idea as to how successful one can set up those things. OTOH, as soon as we know the chipsets, we might be able to give proper instructions. ndiswrapper may or may not be the best way to proceed.
