WinFast TV2000 XP Deluxe

Hi everyone, I am sick of using win xp and now goin to migrate everything to linux. however I worry I will face the problem of install the software and programs as I am totally new in linux.
My greatest concern now is my WinFast TV2000 XP Deluxe and creative live! soundcard...
Are there driver for this 2 hardware? Other then that I think no other hardware problem I hope..
I also worry I might face problem in install linux.
Hope to get some guidelines here.

I can't help you with the SBLive, but as far as the WinFast TV2000 XP Deluxe card goes, My Mandrake 10 install recognizes the card OK.

Hi there, thanks for your offer!
The mandrake 10 is the lastest linux OS? So I just download it and install?
Then will need some help from you with my TV card. As for the sound card, I happen to found this website and wonder if its useful. http://opensource.creative.com/soundcard.html
And I am really a newbie in linux and know nothing much so I hope will be able to get some guidiance... Thanks.

sblive/sbaudigy will work in most recent linuxes that have the emu10k1 driver

hi Baldrick65, I install Mandrake 1o, it did recognise the card but when i on it, it state there is no video source and cannot open capture device /dev/video0 please help me... thanks!!
