Wine programs from windows?

Hi,
this may be a foolish noob question, but is it possible to run some of my windows programs in linux, using wine, from the install I allready have on my windws partition?

It would save a good bit a disk space if I only had to keep one install, just wonderng if this is possible. Thanks in advance!

Yes, it's possible. But wine not always work though. You really are better off using Linux native applications instead. Here is a nice list:

Good luck!
