wine and Studio MX


when I tried to install Studio MX using wine I got this error

Code:
 The InstallShield Engine  (iKernel.exe) could not be lauchned. (0x80040150)
hmmm wtf

did you download dcom and type :
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="ole32=n" wine dcom95.exe
? before trying installation ?

If you want help getting things like Studio MX working through wine then go to http://frankscorner.org/. There's a link to the site on the Wine homepage somewhere, and it tells you how to get most programs that work through Wine going. Good luck with it.

install this (using wine of course) first before trying to install studio mx and you've set your winver in wine to win95.

if you're winver is 98 then i'm pretty sure, you'll need this installed instead:

http://www.microsoft.com/com/dcom/dcom98/download.asp
