Wine and Diablo2

Well i have looked on there site and i was like sweet play me some Diablo 2 in my Debian system well i got wine and i tried to install but it like hangs there when its about to finsh and my god it pisses me off i want to play me some Diablo2. So my question is how should i fix should i try to update wine and jsutr try to install again ?

try to use cedega, wine's cousin.
It is comercial but there is a free version available on CVS.
