Have you looked at this link? It explains how to install the correct driver for the RT3290. Please don't use the word "urgent" in your posts. It may be urgent for you but not for others.

Hi jdkaye,
Thank you for your reply, for your kind information I've already visited that link and already tried. There were few errors while make and the errors are:

scripts/Makefile.build:257: recipe for target '/home/aryan/DPO_RT3290_LinuxSTA_V2600_20120508/os/linux/../../sta/sta_cfg.o' failed
make[2]: *** [/home/aryan/DPO_RT3290_LinuxSTA_V2600_20120508/os/linux/../../sta/sta_cfg.o] Error 1
Makefile:1394: recipe for target '_module_/home/aryan/DPO_RT3290_LinuxSTA_V2600_20120508/os/linux' failed
make[1]: *** [_module_/home/aryan/DPO_RT3290_LinuxSTA_V2600_20120508/os/linux] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory '/usr/src/linux-headers-3.19.0-26-generic'
Makefile:380: recipe for target 'LINUX' failed
make: *** [LINUX] Error 2

And in file DPO_RT3290_LinuxSTA_V2600_20120508/os/linux/config.mk it doesn't have " HAS_NATIVE_WPA_SUPPLICANT=y " this line.

Can you help me with these error and fix my problem
Thank you.

I assume you read this line from the instructions:
Quote:
I've always had the issue of installing Ubuntu 12.04 and not having wireless when I boot up. This solves that issue but ONLY for the Ralink RT3290 Chip and ONLY on Ubuntu 12.04. This will NOT work on 12.10 unless you downgrade the kernel.
Have you tried this with Ubuntu 12:04? Do you have wpasupplicant installed? It's very hard to help you if you don't tell us what steps you took to solve your problem.

Here is another link for a solution with a more recent version of Ubuntu (14.04). If you do a search on the Ubuntu forums I'm sure you will find a solution if this one doesn't work
