which program to download 4 watchin tv?

i am running a livecd for Myah os and i tried downloading mythtv but its in the wrong format. i cant find the right one so is there another program with the right format so i can download it with slackins because im a newbie n i still havent conquered the command line. thx

I don't know a whole lot about Slackware, but you should have some sort of package manager. Try and download gxine-it should be able to let you watch tv...(I think)
