Where you can find mplayer rpm for Fedora core 4
Hello.
I am seeking for graphical mplayer.
Because Fedora core use gcc 4.0 so I can't compile mplayer.
The rpm package it shows me didn't contains gmplayer.
I 've tried to download from freshrpm.net but it said that
my computer lack library for rpm.
Where else can I tried, please show me
You can get it from various 3rd-party repositories. Add either the livna repository or the dag, freshrpms, atrpms, dries, newrpms etc. (RPMforge) group of repositories (but not both groups), depending on your political preferences. Then you can do "yum install mplayer" (RPMforge) or "yum install mplayer mplayer-gui" (livna).

Firstly, I use dialup connection not broadband, yum is not

Sencondly, I 've try freshrpms.net, The package require more

If you are going to be manually downloading rpms using dialup, why not just use yum. YUM will resolve all dependencies saving you time and effort that you would have spent hunting down and downloading dependencies which may or may not work with the version of mpayer you are trying to install.

Due to dial up 's slow speed, I must pause the download process and continue for many times.
Can yum pause and resume download.
