Hi,

KOffice 1.4 includes Kivio , a Visio-style flowcharting application.

Kivio is a flowcharting and diagramming application for the KOffice application suite, and has an userinterface that is similar to Visio®. It is fully integrated into KOffice and can for example be embedded into KWord.

Features:

* Scriptable stencils using Python.
* Support for Dia stencils.
* Plugin framework for adding more functionality.

I hope that helps,

THP

Kvivio is a good choice, provided you are using KDE for your graphical interface.

What type of system, distro & GUI are you using?

You don't need to be running KDE to run a KDE program. Kivio is normally part of KOffice, though so you will probably need the whole of KOffice (+ the language pack).

I stand corrected. Yes Kvivio will run on other GUI.
I have had problems with other apps hanging or not working, but I haven't had problems like that with Open Office.
