Hey all, I just ran
free -m and here's what I'm seeing:
Code:
root@DebSata:/home/jobee# free -m
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 3548 2743 805 0 88 2442
-/+ buffers/cache: 212 3336
Swap: 6929 0 6929
I hadn't started ANY programs; this is just idling. I did a
top and sorted by memory and according to top I'm using 333.512 megabytes of RAM. SO, how do I find out why I'm using 2.7 gigabytes of RAM when I'm not running any programs?
Thanks,
Joe B
