In

Code:
/usr/src/kernels/kernel-version
but only if you've installed the kernel sources. If not, you'll have to get hold of the Fedora Core 3 kernel source rpm from the fedora site.

sopurce files installed

i already installed the source files but the problem persist.
this is what i get in my cosole

What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running
kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include] /usr/src/redhat/BUILD/kernel-2.6.9/linux-2.6.9 <---this is my answer

The path "/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/kernel-2.6.9/linux-2.6.9" is an existing
directory, but it does not contain at least one of these directories "linux", <----this is what it tells me
"asm", "net" as expected.

but i can see the directory net in the path i provide it above..... any one has a clue???

Note: am trying to install vmware

Is there a reason you are not accepting the default path, but instead providing your own path?
