Where Can I find the log for ftpquotas

Hi,

I have set the user quota on Linux server( OEL6-u4 v1.1) and pure-ftpd1.42.

I have applied user quota and tried uploading the file with lftp client. Once user quota is exceeded I got the below error:
put: Access failed: 552 Quota exceeded: [testfile_5MB] won't be saved

How can server know about the error message of Client. Is error generated on server if client exceeded the quota.

Thanks You.
