What we need for play video file on Linux?
Hi Sir,
Our board main chip is INTEL board-well DE. Currently we have build a linux working env.
The env include linux kernel(3.11.10) and root file system. We could boot the system and login by serial console port. We did not build in X window.
Because the cpu include the VGA interface. So we also could saw the linux boot message same with serial port output on VGA console.
Currently we try to play video file output with VGA port. Because we only support serial output now. Have someone could give us some advice how to do that?
Because we could not install normally OS(Ubuntu, Red hat...) to display video files, we only could base on currently linux environment. Have any simple way to do that?
We just want to play video on VGA port.
Any type all be fine, Not limitation with video type.
Thanks.
