What software exists for shrinking mpeg files to fit dvd5?
When I record a film from my TV card, I can't find any software to shrink the mpg file to fit dvd5. There must be something which will do the job! Any ideas gratefully received.
Thanks for those suggestions - I'll give them a try. I think the problem with k9copy is that it only accepts input from a dvd, not from an mpg file on your hdd - but I could be wrong.
Tovid is pretty nice and easy to use, and it's designed for just this kind of thing. It has both gui and command line versions.
tovid is an amazing sett of tools, played around with it the other day, couldnt get the dvd to play in my standalone player, but i could on my computer, i blame the player
