hi there:

just wonder what are the P2P file sharing programs avaiable in Linux? i have found Overnet so far but am having problems with its core (overnet0.53.3-tim) on Fedora Core2, the gui seems fine. are there anything else that is easier to set up?

I would recommend xMule, it is a p2p client that is much like a port of emule to linux and runs on the edoneky network.

Limewire is nice and really easy to install. Problem is, it's written in Java, and Java bad as is (and apparently always will be) it's slow and will use a lot of power from your computer... Still, downloads are quite fast, faster then Kazaa actually

xMule is better if you are looking for full iso's or albums though...

Very cool darin3200!!!

Thanks!. The thing to run java -server sounds interesting, I'll take a look at it. Still, I hope someday I will see an application written in Java running well . I like Java a lot, syntax, idea, style, etc. But I went back to C++
