what is the usage of /etc/module.conf


Hi all,

I boot my linux through NFS and alway entercounter the following message like "
Note: /etc/modules.conf is more recent than /lib/modules/2.4.20_mvlcee31-mx21ads
/modules.dep" i would like to ask what is the using of the "/etc/modules.conf"
as i need to modify it also in my computer for the irda setting and how can i make use of it?
